We found our new go to spot for Peking duck. This place was surprising very good because we weren't expecting much. I was shocked that this place wasn't packed with customers. Service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious. I would recommend their Peking duck and fried pork ribs. If you have a special occasion, they do offer king crab cooked 3 way.
Awesome Peking duck without a long wait time like traditional Peking duck restaurants. The entrees are also delicious. I loved the sauteed squid with onions and peppers, and the sauteed green beans. The truffle fried rice was interesting. I wouldn't order the fried rice again, but I'm glad to have tried it once. I like how the egg pieces in the rice are actually crispy instead of fried rice at other restaurants. The duck soup is a trap. Do not order it. It's so bland with just a few pieces of tofu and rice noodles. Not worth the $5 on top of the cost of the roast duck. Even if it were $1 extra, I wouldn't recommend it
I was pleasantly surprised by Tian Tian, it is rare to find any solid Chinese restaurant in Dallas area. Seeing a decent variety of cantonese dish options is always great and the food and quality is solid. The place is clean and comfortable. They also have their robo server delivering your dishes. Some of the dishes I've enjoyed: Roasted Peking Duck, Black Pepper BBQ pork, cantonese style sweet and sour pork. Note they also now have dim sum which is rare in Dallas, and it is actually solid for Dallas standards. Highly recommend and would come back.
The best spot for pecking duck, in my humble opinion. Great taste and quality Chinese food. Always come here for pecking duck and it never disappoints! The duck is perfectly cooked and tasty, the skin is so crispy but not too oily; perfection. Love that the pecking duck dish also comes with a light soup on the side. I also love their other dishes like the barbecue pork, vegetables (specifically the green beans), and fried rice. Located in a plaza, so parking is easy to find. Service is usually good here.
Pretty decent dim sum spot. Went here with a friend and we split: Xiaolongbao, Pan fried pork buns, Stickey rice, and a couple of shrimp dumplings. we ended up paying about $25 a person before tip so it seemed pretty fairly priced overall. Everything was pretty good overall though the soup in the Xiaolongboa could have been a bit warmer for my tastes. They had a really extensive menu so as much as I enjoyed the dim sum I think I would likely want to try the entrees next time I returned instead.
Peking Duck, Garlic Pea Pod Leaves My foodie guru swore this was the best Peking duck in town, so we obviously had to try it. The interior is huge, with an area with tons of windows and natural light. Even with a long wait list, we only had to wait for about 20 minutes to be seated. They do take reservations I think. Servers are efficient. Peking duck had wonderfully crispy skin, so greasy and oily and wonderful. The duck itself was still moist and delicious. The soup was not standard Peking duck soup; it was a super light broth really, almost no salt in it, but a nice balance. Pea pod leaves usually come in abalone sauce here, but we prefer garlic, so they kindly switched it out for us.
Come for the Peking duck! I've been craving it for a while now and there isn't really a place for it where I'm from. The duck skin is the perfect balance of fat and crispy. The meat is super tender and juicy. We also ordered the truffle fried rice, string beans, xiao long bao and chicken feet. Everything tasted good and we enjoyed it. Dishes were a bit greasy, but the taste made up for it. Prices are also very fair at this place, which is another plus.
Located within a small plaza, so shouldn't be too hard to find parking. It was the late morning of the fourth of July, so it was a bit busy. It actually got way more crowded after we had been seated and settled in. I really liked the design on the inside of the restaurant. It gave off a kind of elegant and classy vibe to the chaotic-ness of a dim sum restaurant. There was three of us eating together and we enjoyed all the food we ordered. We may have ordered a bit more than we could have eaten, but we powered through it all.
